Laura Goldstein, LMSW

Life comes with challenges, but navigating them doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. My goal is to help you understand your reactions to difficult situations so you can enjoy life more. Together, we’ll tap into your natural strengths to foster growth. Whether you’re facing trauma, relationship struggles, or stress, I’m here to offer support and practical tools to help you move forward.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Agnes Scott College before completing my Master of Social Work (MSW) at the University of Georgia. During my time at UGA, I focused on supporting adults through grief, a subject that is close to my heart. I am passionate about providing a safe space for those coping with loss, illness, divorce, or major life transitions—especially those who may not have the support they deserve.

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, client-centered, and evidence-based, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and parts work. I take a holistic, mind-body approach to healing, incorporating relaxation techniques into sessions. I am committed to helping individuals cultivate self-compassion, build meaningful connections, and create lasting positive change.

Outside of my work, I enjoy crocheting, watching documentaries, baking, and reading. Life at home is always lively, as I share it with my husband, children, and cats!
