I am dedicated to guiding individuals towards personal growth, fostering self-compassion, and nurturing meaningful connections with loved ones and communities, resulting in positive and lasting impacts on their lives. Achieving these goals may not always be easy, but I am committed to empowering my clients to overcome challenges and find meaning in their experiences.
I graduated from Agnes Scott College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology before pursuing my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Georgia, which I completed in May 2024. During my time at UGA, I focused on working with adults experiencing grief, a subject of special interest to me. I aspire to be a source of support for those who may not have the assistance they deserve during their time of grief, whether it be due to a loss, illness, divorce, or life changes.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative, client-centered, and evidence-based, drawing from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, and Narrative Therapy. I believe in creating a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can openly explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Whether you're struggling with life transitions, relationship issues, or managing stress, I am here to provide guidance, support, and practical tools to help you navigate through difficult times.
Outside the office, I enjoy crocheting, watching documentaries, baking, and reading. My personal life is quite busy, as I share it with my husband, two children, and three cats!
