Katelyn Lilly, MSW

Katelyn earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Oglethorpe University. She has five years of experience in community mental health and is currently pursuing licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).

Katelyn works with clients ages 12 and older, including adolescents, young adults, and adults. She enjoys working with the queer population and individuals navigating life transitions, identity exploration, trauma, grief, and general mental health concerns. Her therapeutic approach is humanistic, integrative, and trauma-informed, grounded in the belief that healing happens through safety, trust, and authentic connection. She draws from client-centered therapy, mindfulness, and strengths-based practices, while incorporating evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Katelyn values cultural humility and strives to create a collaborative and inclusive space where each client’s unique experiences and identities are honored. She believes that every person’s story deserves to be heard with compassion and curiosity, and that therapy can empower clients to live more fully, not just survive.

Outside of the therapy room, Katelyn enjoys reading, thrifting, cross-stitching, and playing The Legend of Zelda. She also finds joy in exploring creative outlets and spending time in meaningful connection with others.
