Her clinical approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, strengths-based work, narrative therapy, and solution-focused techniques. She is trained in EMDR and certified in the Safe and Sound Protocol, a therapeutic listening intervention informed by polyvagal theory that supports nervous system regulation.
Throughout her career, Caryn has remained committed to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development, bringing steadiness, perspective, and depth of experience to her work. She occasionally brings her dog, Sullivan, to the office, whose friendly presence often adds comfort and lightness to sessions.
