Elizabeth Perry, MSW Intern

I am passionate about working with children and adolescents, helping them navigate the complex emotions and challenges that come with growing up. I believe every child deserves a safe, supportive space where they can express themselves freely and develop the tools they need to thrive.

In my practice, I focus on creating a warm, non-judgmental environment where young clients feel heard and understood. I work collaboratively with children to help them process their emotions, build resilience, and develop healthy coping strategies for life's inevitable ups and downs. Whether a child is dealing with anxiety, family transitions, social challenges, or simply needs support in understanding their feelings, I'm here to walk alongside them on their journey.

I bring a unique perspective to my work, having earned my undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Spanish from Berry College. I am currently in my second year pursuing my Master of Social Work at the University of Georgia, where I am deepening my understanding of child development, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions. My hands-on experience working with children and adolescents includes working at a summer camp, working in a daycare setting, nannying and tutoring. These diverse experiences have given me valuable insight into how young people learn, grow, and connect with others across different environments.

When I'm not in session, you'll often find me in the kitchen baking up something delicious, curled up with a good book, playing pickleball, or spending quality time with my dog. I believe that maintaining balance and joy in my own life helps me bring my best self to the therapeutic relationship.

I look forward to the opportunity to support your child and your family.
